Local Authority Case Management Software Systems

The Local Authority Case Management Software has been designed to automate the production of legal and other documents for non-contentious legal matters.  In minimising the amount of manual work, the system provides a matter control function to remind the user when action is required. The system automatically acts on its own initiative when relevant controlling data has been entered.  Staff productivity can be optimised and any time deadlines are not overlooked.

The system is supplied with a set of conveyancing and general property related procedures.  Although there is a library of precedent documents available, the system can be tailored so that the user’s own precedent documents may be used.  One of the strengths of this system is that it can be modified easily to fit all requirements.

Standard Procedures

The following procedures are provided:

  • Council house (and flat) sales of freehold and leasehold property under the Right To Buy Scheme
  • Sheltered housing sales of leasehold property under the Right To Buy Scheme and subsequent lease transfers
  • Commercial leases for a range of property types, with facilities for both protected and unprotected arrangements
  • Assignment of commercial leases
  • Rent reviews for commercial leases
  • Production of Deed of Variation for private and commercial leases
  • Production of Deed of Rectification for private and commercial leases
  • Leases on property that the council takes for its own use
  • Production of a range of miscellaneous counterpart licences.  Addition licence types can be added easily to the system.
  • Applications for alterations to former council property
  • Contracts for building works on council property
  • Tree preservation orders
  • Planning appeals

Additional Procedures

Additional procedures and functions can be set up easily using the Silver Link software tools.
